DEATH FROM ABOVE graphic novel update

It's been a long and winding road this year, lots of traveling to conventions, delays, people not responding to querys, and much waiting. I think everyone is just busy, running scared with the world situation, and adapting to a new paradigm shift from thinking only of ourselves to thinking about everyone. Yet, life goes on. We're all still trying to make things go in our lives. But some of us are working for a longer-term vision, rather than short-lived entertainment designed to fill the pocketbook.

Would you like to see a comic book/graphic novel that actually helps you understand the world instead of filling you with images of gun-toting fools with angry, upset faces trying to save the world?

My upcoming graphic novel DEATH FROM ABOVE will be such a book. Imagine a comic book where once you close the back cover you will have taken a giant step forward into your awareness, into deepening your spiritual presence on this Earth. 

DEATH FROM ABOVE takes on the cornerstone of all spiritual teachings--the issue of death, and lays it all out in a practical, non-dogmatic style with lush, hand-painted pages. It may sound strange, but it will work, it will push you, and it will be enlightening. I understand that death is a tough subject to talk about, as if I know what death is. 

But I have a lot of mojo... ;-)

It's currently being made into an interactive iPad application through SimulatedPeople.com and it's also on the table being reviewed by a large publisher who is so far, very interested in seeing it to fruition. One day, sooner or later, it will be here. Please keep checking back!

STAKES update

We have sent this book to many publishers but so far no interest. After a year and a half of traveling around the USA and Canada to conventions and showing people this book I've found most everyone seems interested in STAKES. They seem to like the different-looking art, and enjoy the story so far.

So, Todd Jones and I are pushing on. This winter I will be working on more pages. There's plenty out there to keep you distracted, but please keep STAKES in the back of your mind, it will be in tangible form one day and it'll be worth it.

Here's a quick promo I did for the New York Comic Con this month. Sure, it looks like Colt is holding a carrot with the mallet (instead of a wooden stake), but don't worry, little things like that will get fixed in the end!
